Breakout star Gigi De Lana brings a roller coaster of feels in her freshly released self-titled debut album<\/a> under Star Music.<\/p>\n

Gigi and her band The Gigi Vibes have worked on the highly anticipated project that is set to depict different stages of love, from falling to getting heartbroken to recovering from pain, through its eight original songs and two bonus tracks.<\/p>\n

\u201cSobrang andaming pinagdaanan. Andaming nangyari kung paano namin nacompose ang mga kanta, kung paano namin naprodyus ang mga kanta. The songs went thru ups and downs na hindi namin akalain na eto na siya,\u201d shared Gigi.<\/p>\n

Its key track \u201cO Bakit Ba<\/a>\u201d is about the never-ending cycle of getting hurt written by Gigi and Erwin Lacsa. The Kapamilya artist also co-wrote another song in the album entitled \u201cLetting Go\u201d together with Jon Cruz and Erin Justo.<\/p>\n

The album also includes Gigi\u2019s debut single and break-up anthem \u201cSakalam<\/a>\u201d and the official soundtrack of ABS-CBN Entertainment\u2019s \u201cViral Scandal\u201d series entitled \u201cNasayo Ako<\/a>.\u201d Her remake of \u201cBakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita<\/a>,\u201d now the theme song of her ongoing iQiyi series \u201cHello Heart\u201d with Gerald Anderson, is likewise part of the release.<\/p>\n

The pop-rock record also features the songs \u201cBibitawan, \u201cFirst Night,\u201d \u201cTopak,\u201d \u201cIsang Idlip,\u201d and \u201cHuling Lapit.\u201d ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo served as its overall producer.<\/p>\n

Gigi shared what the album means to her and her band. \u201cWe want to bring back pop-rock music to encourage listeners to be true to themselves. This is about truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of today\u2019s fastest rising stars, Gigi rose to fame after her performance of \u201cBakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita,\u201d from her band\u2019s online gig, went viral. The RISE Artists Studio talent also performed at the 1MX Dubai 2021 and headlined her first digital concert with The Gigi Vibes, \u201cGigi De Lana: Holiday Vibes\u201d for YouTube Music Night last December.<\/p>\n
