{"id":214018,"date":"2022-03-14T10:20:35","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T02:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diplomatic-fuchsia-armadillo.46-250-226-234.cpanel.site\/?p=214018"},"modified":"2022-03-14T10:31:27","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T02:31:27","slug":"sab-goes-back-to-indie-pop-roots-in-collab-single-with-moophs-id-like-to","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diplomatic-fuchsia-armadillo.46-250-226-234.cpanel.site\/?p=214018","title":{"rendered":"Sab Goes Back To Indie-Pop Roots In Collab Single With Moophs &#8220;I&#8217;d Like To&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Picking up from the success of her debut EP in 2021, singer-songwriter SAB steps into a new chapter in her music career with the release of her first single under Tarsier Records and collab with label head Moophs, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/orcd.co\/sab-idliketo\">I\u2019d Like To<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/syndicated.pageonemedia.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/20220313-PAGEONE-Moophs-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1707\" height=\"2560\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-172074\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter releasing a mix of chill indie, upbeat, and ballads, I realized I wanted to dive deeper into the indie-pop genre of my song \u2018She\u2019 which focused more on having a youthful, natural, and ukulele style,\u201d said SAB.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d Like To\u201d is an indie-pop track that touches on the themes of puppy love and teenage awkwardness that took inspiration from SAB\u2019s personal experience of having a crush on one of her best friends.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/syndicated.pageonemedia.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/20220313-PAGEONE-SAB_Moophs_Id-Like-To-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"2560\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-172075\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With influences from the likes of dodie, Will Jay, and AJ Rafael, SAB co-wrote the song with Moophs who also produced it.<\/p>\n<p>The ukulele-forward track is only the first in the upcoming songs that SAB will release under Tarsier Records to be compiled in an EP. This will serve as follow-up to her debut mini-album \u201cSunsets and Heaven\u201d released last year under Star Music, which earned features in multiple editorial playlists on various streaming platforms. One of its tracks, \u201cShe,\u201d was previously heard in the Korean drama \u201cFlower of Evil\u201d and the local digital series \u201cHello Stranger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, some of Moophs\u2019 most recent projects are \u201cReal\u201d with Markus Paterson, \u201cNonstop\u201d with Sam Concepcion, and \u201cAfraid\u201d with Russell.<\/p>\n<p>Rekindle the bliss and butterflies from young love and stream SAB and Moophs\u2019 \u201cI\u2019d Like To,\u201d out now on various <a href=\"https:\/\/orcd.co\/sab-idliketo\">digital streaming platforms<\/a>.
