Filipino-American singer and songwriter Olivia Rodrigo is set to release her upcoming album “GUTS” on September 8.<\/p>\n

On June 26, Universal Music Group released Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s letter to fans, saying that she created the album during her 19th year; thus, the album is inspired by her late teen angst and experiences such as being confused and awkward and making mistakes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI cannot express how excited I am to embark on this new chapter of my life with you guys.\u201d the artist said. <\/p>\n

In GUTS\u2019 album cover, Olivia Rodrigo is shown looking like a grown young woman compared to how she looked in her first album, SOUR,” which was written when she was 17 years old.<\/p>\n

Her fans on Twitter also noticed that the album\u2019s cover is purple, like the album cover of SOUR, but in a deeper shade.<\/p>\n

They assumed that it played a big role in showing her maturity upon writing the album as she transitioned to her late teenage years.<\/p>\n

As she soon released her album, she thanked her fans for showing support for her career and journey as a songwriter. \u201cMaking this album was very daunting very fun and very fulfilling,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n

Aside from singing and songwriting, Olivia Rodrigo also starred in Disney\u2019s Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.<\/p>\n
