<\/p>\nEnrique Gil goes through heartbreak, mistaken identity, and a whole lot of misadventures in Thailand in his big comeback movie \u201cI Am Not Big Bird,\u201d showing exclusively in cinemas beginning February 14 (Wednesday).<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m super proud of our film. I just really want to make people laugh, and I think it\u2019s the perfect time to come back, especially with a film like this,\u2019 shared Enrique in his Kapamilya Chat interview.<\/p>\n

He stars as Luis Carpio, who is on a \u2018big\u2019 mission in Bangkok with friends after a heartbreak, only to face mishaps after he is mistaken as the famous Thai adult video star called \u2018Big Bird.\u2019<\/p>\n
The Kapamilya actor said accepting the raunchy comedy project was a no-brainer because it was something he just had to do.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am a huge fan of comedy films\u2014those 90s and early 2000s comedies, some of the US comedies\u2014na hindi ko talaga nakikita na o napapanood. To be able to do a film like this here in the Philippines, I just had to do it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Set in the 90s, the hilarious barkada flick also stars Pepe Herrera, Nikko Natividad, and Red Ollero.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s more of a self-discovery along with rediscovering friendship na mga nakalimutan mo na. Para siyang pagtanda at pag-develop ng isang lalaki during that time sa mga na-experience niya sa Thailand,\u201d said co-writer Joma Labayen.<\/p>\n
