They say food is a great start to great love stories. This Sunday, March 31, explore love in different forms and representations as GMA Public Affairs presents \u201cRecipes of Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

A drama special that is sure to tickle the taste buds of viewers, Recipes of Love is a hearty offering of true-to-life love stories that blend food and relationships, featuring this generation\u2019s notable actors.<\/p>\n

For its first recipe, Kapuso actress Katrina Halili and sought-after Sparkle actor Martin del Rosario try to defend their love against all odds in \u201cTortang Talong with Tuna.\u201d<\/p>\n

A single mother of two, Gemmalyn (Katrina), works hard to grow her small eatery (carinderia) for her children. She is gifted as a natural cook and can come up with simple recipes that leave her customers returning for more. One of her popular dishes is \u201cTortang talong with tuna,\u201d or eggplant omelet with tuna.<\/p>\n

Through her small business, Gemmalyn meets Jonathan (Martin). At first, Jonathan is just one of Gemmalyn\u2019s frequent customers. They become close and eventually fall for each other.<\/p>\n

Jonathan does not mind that Gemmalyn is a single parent with two kids\u2014something that the latter is truly grateful for.<\/p>\n

But, as it turns out, Jonathan comes from a rich family. When Jonathan introduces Gemmalyn to them, they immediately object to their relationship. They trample on Gemmalyn’s being and try to keep her away from Jonathan.<\/p>\n

Jonathan is determined to fight for Gemmalyn, but to what extent can the two lovers endure all the pain?<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t miss the first serving of \u201cRecipes of Love,\u201d featuring \u201cTortang Talong with Tuna,\u201d this March 31 before \u201cThe Atom Araullo Specials\u201d on GMA Network.<\/p>\n
