<\/p>\nKapamilya singer-songwriter Trisha Denise opens up about her journey to songwriting and how it led her to compose songs for various renowned artists.<\/p>\n
The up-and-coming artist has a wide array of discography including Regine Velasquez and Moira Dela Torre\u2019s \u201cUnbreakable,\u201d Pops Fernandez\u2019s \u201cGet It Poppin,\u201d and Belle Mariano\u2019s \u201cSomber and Solemn\u201d and many more.<\/p>\n
\u201cSobrang humbling ng experience na pinagkakatiwalaan ako na magsulat ng kanta for these icons and legends kasi I just write by myself in my room at usually iilan lang yung makakarinig, yung mga tao sa studio and then biglang ilalabas na ng record label kaya palaki nang palaki yung responsibility pero I\u2019m so grateful sa trust na ibinibigay sa akin,\u201d Trisha said during her recent \u201cSimula ng Wakas\u201d EP celebration.<\/p>\n
At first, Trisha never saw herself pursuing music as she had her mind set on becoming a chef. However, her heart found its rightful place in music when she learned how to play a guitar and started writing songs that led her to life changing opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u201cNung nag-start na ko gumawa ng sarili kong kanta, nagustuhan ko siya kaya iyon na rin yung pinursue ko hanggang college. Sumali rin ako sa songwriting competitions hanggang sa nauwi ako sa first published song ko for Janella Salvador\u2019s debut album,\u201d Trisha shared.<\/p>\n
As a recording artist, Trisha released her first single \u201cMahalaga\u201d from the soundtrack of \u201cBetween Maybes.\u201d In 2021, she released her debut album \u201cPiece of the Puzzle\u201d which spawned the singles \u201cLiliwanag,\u201d \u201cIka\u2019y Mamahalin,\u201d and \u201cMamahalin.\u201d Last year, Trisha returned with her six-track EP \u201cSimula Ng Wakas<\/a>\u201d that tackles unpacking one\u2019s emotional baggage and finding courage to move forward in life.<\/p>\n \u201cIt tells the story of having a painful past and the transformation to welcome new beginnings. Para ito sa mga tao na naghahanap ng fresh start sa kanilang buhay,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n Through her journey in the music industry, Trisha has discovered her formula to creating music which is letting personal stories shine in her artistry.<\/p>\n \u201cKung ano yung lumalabas na raw feelings and emotions na susulat ko, iyon yung Trisha sound.
